GRAPHIC DESIGN

I began my experience with graphic design back in high school and I have had a strong passion for it ever since. With graphic design, I do a lot of digital art for fun, but I would say that my main focus, professionally, leans toward logo design. I have had a lot of experience with creating logos not only in my GIMM courses, but I have also had first-hand experience working with a client and generating logos for them. My favorite part of doing graphic design is the freedom that comes with it as it allows you to have everything at your fingertips at all times, allowing for the possibility of creation to be endless.

GAME DEVELOPMENT

The first video game that I ever played was a first-person shooter known as “Halo 2” and compared to now, I have played hundreds of video games that vary in genres. Something that has always drawn me to video games is both the visuals and the storytelling. I feel that these components can make or break a game. When joining GIMM, I knew that this was where I wanted my focus to be, but this program has opened my eyes to so much more. Throughout this major, I have been able to get hands-on experience with those components of visuals and storytelling, but I have also learned how to also code video games.
